If response_temp.res is found in the input folder and pack_response variable is true, vpk_pack.cmd will give it to vpk.exe and pack files listed in that response file.Īfter completion, response_temp.res will be deleted.Įarlier versions of the script actually supported finding any *response*.res files in the input folder and packing from those but I quickly realized how dangerous that behavior can be, so I changed it to one-time-use response_temp.res only. Once writing of response_temp.res file is completed, the input folder is passed to vpk_pack.cmd as before.
